Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 12 July 2026.

These terms govern the use of the Aurio service (aurioapp.com), whose owner is Jesús Badía Closa (see the Legal Notice). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

1. Purpose and nature of the service

Aurio is an informative personal finance and tax analysis service. Aurio does not move money, does not issue invoices, does not file tax returns or forms with the AEAT (Spanish Tax Agency), is not a tax advisory firm and does not provide financial, tax or investment advice. The tax calculations (VAT, estimated personal income tax, depreciation) are indicative estimates that do not replace a professional.

2. Capacity

You must be over 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. The service is aimed at natural persons in Spain (individuals and self-employed / freelancers).

3. Registration and account

To use the service you must create an account with truthful data and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for safeguarding your keys; we strongly recommend enabling two-factor verification (2FA). Let us know if you detect any unauthorised use.

4. Your data and your responsibility

It is you who decides what information to add to Aurio (importing a file or uploading a document and, when bank connectivity becomes available, whether to enable it to connect a bank). You are responsible for the data you enter and for the decisions you make based on the information provided by Aurio. In particular:

  • You are liable for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you provide.
  • If you provide third-party data (suppliers, customers, counterparties), you must have a legitimate basis to do so; with respect to that data you act as the controller and Aurio as a processor handling it on your behalf.
  • Financial and tax decisions and any filing, self-assessment or formality before the Administration are exclusively yours or your advisor's.

In return, you are in charge of your data: you can export it and delete your account whenever you want. The details of the processing are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Plans and payments

There is a free plan and a paid premium subscription plan. Web purchases are managed through Stripe and iOS purchases through Apple's App Store; RevenueCat synchronises Premium access status on iOS. The price, period and any trial are shown on the relevant purchase screen before you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically for equal periods unless you cancel it; you can manage or cancel it through the same channel where you purchased it (the web billing portal or Apple ID subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refund for the current period except where required by law or the purchase channel's terms.

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, if you request that the service begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose that right once it has been fully performed, the withdrawal will not apply to the part already provided, in accordance with consumer regulations.

6. Bank connection (PSD2)

When bank connectivity becomes available and you choose to enable it, the connection to your banks will be made through an authorised aggregation provider in read-only mode (payments cannot be initiated). Access will be based on your consent and you will be able to revoke it at any time from the application.

7. Acceptable use

It is not permitted to use the service for unlawful purposes, to attempt to breach its security, to carry out reverse engineering, or to enter third-party data without authorisation to do so.

8. Intellectual property

The service, the «Aurio» brand and its contents belong to Jesús Badía Closa or his licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Aurio in accordance with these terms. Your data and the content you provide remain yours.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made on the basis of the information or estimates of the application. Nothing in these terms limits the liabilities or the rights granted to consumers by law that cannot be excluded.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We strive for maximum availability, but the service may experience interruptions or changes. We may modify or discontinue features, informing you where appropriate.

11. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your account and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these terms.

12. Modifications

We may update these terms; we will publish the current version with its date and, when relevant, we will notify you.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may turn to the courts and tribunals of your place of residence, and the consumer regulations most favourable to you will apply.
