Which iPhone do I need?

An iPhone 15 Pro or later running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on. The model must be available on the device itself.

Is chat processed on my iPhone?

Accepted Answer

No. Chat still uses the cloud because it needs tools and context that the iPhone model cannot provide with the same reliability. Your question leaves sanitised, uses aggregated data and read-only tools, and Aurio tells you.

What happens on Android and the web?

Accepted Answer

On Android and the web, AI features use the cloud with aggregated, tokenised and sanitised data. The on-device option in preparation is for iPhone.

Question 4

Does on-device AI use my quota?

Accepted Answer

Generation on your iPhone does not use your quota. If Aurio needs to use the cloud, your plan limits apply, just as with chat and other cloud AI features. Displaying an existing summary does not use additional quota.

Do you store my conversations?

Accepted Answer

Not on the server. Your chat history lives only on your device; Aurio does not create a central archive of your conversations.

What happens when Aurio reads an invoice?

The full image or PDF is uploaded because reading the document is the point. On saving, the tax ID and supplier are tokenised and the receipt is stored encrypted: only you can see it and the tax authority can ask for it for up to four years. You can discard it while reviewing. Batch drafts are encrypted and expire.

Where are large batches processed?

Accepted Answer

No. Large batches are still classified on the server because doing it on the iPhone would be slow and drain the battery. The raw bank description is not sent to the classifier, and Bizum/P2P payments do not create a merchant.

Is Aurio an accountancy firm?

Accepted Answer

No. Aurio is an informational tool: it calculates estimates, does not issue invoices, does not file forms with the Spanish tax authority and does not move money. Bank connections are read-only.
