In the Revolut app, open the currency account you want, tap More (⋯) → Statement, pick the period and the spreadsheet format (not PDF) and generate the file. Upload it to Aurio from Accounts: Aurio reads the date and time, description, signed amount and currency, with English or Spanish headers.
How to download your Revolut statement
- In the Revolut app, go to Home and tap Accounts.
- Choose the currency account whose transactions you want (Revolut produces one statement per currency).
- Tap More (⋯) and then Statement.
- Pick the period and, as the document type, the spreadsheet (Excel) instead of PDF. Tap Generate.
- In Aurio, go to Accounts → Import, choose the destination account and upload the file as it is.
Online banking menus change from time to time. If you cannot find an option, check the official Revolut help.
Which format to choose for Aurio
Recommended format: CSV. Formats Revolut offers: CSV, PDF.
The file we tested is the statement CSV: Type, Product, Started Date, Completed Date, Description, Amount, Fee, Currency, State, Balance (or, with the app in Spanish, Tipo, Producto, Fecha de inicio… Estado, Saldo). Aurio uses the start date with its time, the description, the amount and the currency of each row.
We tested this format with a synthetic sample file (no real data) that mirrors the columns of the Revolut statement. If Revolut changes its file layout and something looks off, the review will show you before anything is saved.
What Aurio does when you import
- Before anything is saved you get a review of every transaction: date, amount and description, so you can fix whatever needs fixing.
- If you upload a period you already imported, repeated transactions are flagged as duplicates in the review.
- Each transaction is categorised automatically: first with your rules and Aurio's, then, if needed, with AI on tokenised data, never with your name or IBAN.
- If the file does not say which amounts are spending and which are income, Aurio warns you instead of silently guessing.
- You do not need to connect your bank or give us your credentials: you download the file and decide what to upload.

Frequently asked questions
What about Revolut fees?
Revolut puts the fee in a separate column (Fee or Comisión). Aurio imports the transaction amount (Amount or Importe); if a transaction had a fee, check it in the review before saving.
What about reverted or pending transactions?
The Revolut statement has a state column (State or Estado). The review shows every row: discard the ones that are not completed before saving.
I have accounts in several currencies. How do I do it?
Revolut produces one statement per currency. Download one per account and upload each to its matching account in Aurio; every transaction keeps the currency from the file.
